This position falls under the Project Management Office, and reports to the PMO Director. This is hands-on and the successful candidate will have an opportunity to participate in and make a positive impact on MarineCFO’s success.  It will be expected that the successful candidate will participate in and actively contribute to the direction of the software product and the software development processes that are followed.

The successful candidate MUST be well organized and possess excellent communications skills.
MarineCFO wants to ensure a positive Customer experience so the scope of this Quality position is from the beginning of the development ycle through to version release.


• Develop and maintain Quality plans for maintaining core product versions using version control. This will include the management of the configuration for testing and development environments as well as the selection and/or development of version control tools.
• Develop and maintain Quality plans for product including both manual testing but with more emphasis on the use and/or development of test automation tools. Also, the set up of test environments is included here
• Develop and maintain Beta test plans including working with Customers to set beta test agendas


• 2 or more years experience in packaged software development
• 2 or more years experience with Microsoft development tools including Microsoft Office development, Access and SQL Server
• An in depth understanding of software testing processes and software development methodologies. Preference will be given to someone with experience in Agile development techniques


Degree in computer science or software engineering.



This position falls under the Development Office, and reports to the VP of Development. The ideal candidate is expected to be a team contributor working on software defects, customer enhancements, and the next generation of business software. Along the way, this position will be responsible for designing, coding and testing features within the existing framework of the company’s current software offerings.

The position has a focus on using SQL, C#, and other Microsoft technologies. In SQL, the position will be dealing with table joins, queries, views, triggers, stored procedures, and security. Colleagues filling this position should be familiar with Microsoft Access form and report design using of Visual Basic for Applications and developing web and mobile applications on the Microsoft .NET platform with C# and ASP.NET.


• Analyze and resolve defects in software for existing customer base.
• Make or suggest software corrections where appropriate and under the approval of Senior Developers
• Team member using SCRUM methodology to develop new features and customer enhancements.


• SQL Server 2008 – 2016 experience
• Experience developing within the full life-cycle of a software product
• SQL programming (queries, triggers, views, stored procedures, etc…)
• Developing applications on the Microsoft .NET platform with C# and ASP.NET
• Microsoft Access form and report design
• Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work.
• Ability to demonstrate ability to solve somewhat complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple concurrent work tasks.
