MarineCFO, with a vision to be the technology thought leader in the global Workboat Industry, has obtained affiliate membership with the American Waterways Operators (AWO). AWO Affiliate membership is open to associations, corporations, partnerships and individuals sharing common interests with the American Waterways Operators, but who do not operate vessels themselves.
AWO’s Responsible Carrier Program (RCP) has been designated as a suitable Towing Safety Management System to facilitate compliance with the US Coast Guard’s Subchapter M rule. For years, small and large carriers alike have used RCP as a means for ensuring the safety of their vessels and crew. According to David Hanowski, CEO of MarineCFO, “We are proud to be a part of AWO; our membership will further help us fulfill our mission. Through technology thought leadership, we provide products and services that empower workboat operators with Vessel Enterprise Resource Planning through sustainable data collection, tasking, and decision making tools.
“My team and I look forward to learning more about the challenges facing our industry, through knowledge sharing events hosted by organizations such as AWO,” said Dean Shoultz, Chief Technology Officer at MarineCFO.
