Applications Developer

This position falls under the Development Office, and reports to the VP of Development.

The ideal candidate is expected to be a team contributor working on software defects, customer enhancements, and the next generation of business software. Along the way, this position will be responsible for designing, coding and testing features within the existing framework of the company’s current software offerings.
The position has a focus on using SQL, C#, and other Microsoft technologies. In SQL, the position will be dealing with table joins, queries, views, triggers, stored procedures, and security. Colleagues filling this position should be familiar with Microsoft Access form and report design using of Visual Basic for Applications and developing web and mobile applications on the Microsoft .NET platform with C# and ASP.NET.
  • Analyze and resolve defects in software for existing customer base.
  • Make or suggest software corrections where appropriate and under the approval of Senior Developers
  • Team member using SCRUM methodology to develop new features and customer enhancements.
  • SQL Server 2008 – 2016 experience
  • Experience developing within the full life-cycle of a software product
  • SQL programming (queries, triggers, views, stored procedures, etc…)
  • Developing applications on the Microsoft .NET platform with C# and ASP.NET
  • Microsoft Access form and report design
  • Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work.
  • Ability to demonstrate ability to solve somewhat complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple concurrent work tasks.
 Degree in computer science or software engineering.
